The candidate will work to develop automated test process during engineering verification, automation of production test stations, trouble shoot failures to ensure test processes are done correctly, ensure test documentation is accurate, write test procedures to operate test stations, migrate testing to potential contract manufactures. Candidate must have BSEE, knowledge of microwave radio systems and experience with GPIB and RS232 interfaces. MSEE and RF testing experience a plus.

  Product Test Engineer (Engineering)
   
   

The candidate will work to develop test stations and procedures during engineering verification, define and implement automation of production test stations, trouble shoot product test failures, ensure test processes are performed correctly, ensure test documentation is accurate, write test procedures to operate test stations, and interface with contract manufacturers concerning product testing. This person will serve as the interface between R&D and manufacturing concerning all product design and performance issues. Experience with digital, analog, synthesizer, and RF circuits and test equipment, GPIB and RS232 interfaces, video/audio signals and measurements, MPEG equipment and interfaces.

  ATE Software/Hardware Engineer (Engineering)
   
   

Nucomm a rapidly growing, international wireless communications company seeks a senior level ATE software engineer to develop ATE software to control and monitor many peripheral devices through JTAG, RS232, GPIB and Ethernet. Position requires a creative, results oriented self-starter capable of taking independent initiatives with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Successful candidates will have:
· A BSEE in software or similar subject field minimum.
· Formal training on C++ and ANSI C and Expert Level experience.
· Formal training on Visual Basic .NET, Visual Basic 6 and Expert Level experience.
· A minimum of 7 years design and hands on trouble shooting experience with both software and hardware.
· A thorough understanding of software documentation and revision control.
· Experience working knowledge of ANSI C targeted to embedded controllers (8051, Microchip, ARM7).
· Experience with LabView or Vee.
· Experience writing JTAG test software.
· Experience with RF test and measurement equipment.
· Working knowledge of relational databases.
· Must have hardware design/trouble shooting experience.
· Must be capable of complex problem solving.
· Must have US Citizenship

Responsibilities will include:
· Leading ATE development of mid Volume production testing. (200/month)
· Will be responsible for all ATE software and hardware development and implementation.
· Defining and setting up test stations.
· Will collaborate with embedded software leader.

Successful candidates will have:
· 5 years of hands on digital and analog trouble shooting experience.
· Experience with microwave transmitters, receivers and video equipment repair.
· Good technical writing skills in:
o Test procedures

· Ability to work closely with design engineering on new product development
· Demonstrated digital circuitry expertise and knowledge in RF radio circuitry a plus.

Typical products the successful candidate will be working on are IF and RF up/down converters, power amplifiers, LNAs and synthesizers. Position requires a creative, results orientated self starter capable of taking independent initiatives with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Successful candidates will have:
· A BSEE in Electrical Engineering minimum
· Participated in a lead role on the design of linear heterodyne transmitters and/or receivers.
· A minimum of 10 years design and hands on trouble shooting experience with RF designs, 15 years preferred.
· Experience managing development projects both technically and managerially.
· An understanding of microwave tools.
· Software experience with a microwave software development tool(Eagleware)
